The Origins of the Normans

  1. Viking Roots:
  • The Normans were originally descended from Viking settlers. In 911, the Frankish king Charles the Simple granted land around the mouth of the Seine River (modern-day Normandy) to a Viking leader named Rollo (or Hrolf) under the Treaty of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte. This was part of a deal to stop Viking raids on Frankish territory. Rollo and his followers settled in this region, which became known as Normandy (from “Northmen,” referring to the Vikings).

  • Over the next century, these Viking settlers intermingled with the local Frankish (French) population, adopting their language, religion, and customs."

xD

Looks like the missile is fired by the SPAD hahaha

I guess Britain/Canada just doesn’t exist, despite it being Canada’s game and the previous record holder was a Canadian.

It’s apparently pretty big news in Russia. That, and maybe some of the devs enjoy watching hockey

That can make sense, its a Russian player on an American team playing a Canadian sport lmao

Well, Canada is not a tech tree and Britain doesn’t have much to do with ice hockey, the NHL or Alexander Ovechkin and Wayne Gretzky

great to see that some random russian ice hockey player gets an event with multiple decals and profile picture while most ingame nation get only a decal and some overpriced fomo vehicles for a limited time

When did the Canadian player set his record btw? It could’ve just been that game was new or didn’t exist when that happened

Wayne Gretzky is still alive and ice hockey is at least 150 years old

Well yeah I know but Alexander Ovechkin broke the record very recently. Which is why I ask when Wayne Gretzky did it

Wayne Gretzky, also known as “The Great One”, scored 894 goals over his 20 year career, which ended in 1999.
So it’s been an unbeatable record for 26 years.

But yeah, hockey was invented supposedly in 1875.

No wonder it’s such a big deal Ovechkin broke the record then.
