Here they’re starting off in their smol tanks hoping to reach Abrooms or Leopards one day … and just beside them a usually bored Abroomer spawns in a slow, noisy n raggedy Mark V with all the renewed enthusiasm in the world.

Still funny how people still fail to see how WW1 is in the game. We have 4 tanks, 2 armored cars and one aircraft people can play in regular battles. Yes they maybe event vehicles but the oldest playable ground vehicle is 1916 and the oldest aircraft 1915. If that not WW1 then I don’t know what is

Still very odd. This is a huge change in caliber for an April fools joke. Apart from the announcement of the ST-1 every single one of these events you mentioned was playable and did serve a role in testing a game mode/vehicle/mechanic. It just seems extremely odd to make a whole teaser with high quality soldier models, environments, guns, etc. spending all that money that could have been allocated better… just about anywhere on a singular joke? Its not even a good one bc it makes Gaijin look bad to a lot of players who expected to see sth other games have been lacking, even if for only a closed beta test

I think that’s why people think the modern ones will come into the games permanently.
Widen your horizons, just like Gaijin did. Just because they showcased it under the War Thunder brand, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s for this game. :)
All of which they already had either in WT, Enlisted, or Active Matter, which means…

The clips were from Gaijins other products so most of the time making that was just cinematics and splicing clips together.
