Is the new April fools mode out yet?
Seeing what some of the players currently seem to be playing WT on, yeah I think they would need to update the minimum requirements, because a lot of PCs/early consoles would absolutely explode.
I agree, the devs would actually have to redesign every map in game or spend a lot of work on a significant amount of new maps with everything new in mind.

Genuinely great. Absolutely thrilled about that. But I hope it’s not only tanks we will get to keep, would love to get some of the planes too.
The planes will be the most fun anyway in normal WT. unless they make a -1.3 BR, the ww1 tanks will be absolute sufferbus in wt.

I had a question concerning the mechanic of planes having both an internal camera and a TGP.
As of now, when equipping the TGP, you loose the ability to see through the onboard optic and those loose all the vertical coverage to lock on planes for exemple.

As answered in this report, it’s an intended mechanic, which I believe was added after the Harrier Gr7 having lots of bugs when both were available.
But now that the PiP was improved with the addition of the drone camera on the minimap, are there any intentions for the devs to try and add that mechanic back ?
For now, it’s not game breaking in the slightest, but for exemple, the rafale should be able to aim and fire all type of missiles passively at an airplane (IR missiles but also Fox 3 thanks to the IRST+rangefinder combo), while tracking ground target to deliver ground ordinance, and it’s not possible as of now
