Exactly bro, they have quite a few variants they could add as well. I’ve been meaning to write a suggestion about the XM1302/BAE MPF for a little while now, hopefully to fill some gaps in the TECH TREE.
Based on what I have read, it didn’t have a thermal net, but it’s entirely possible I missed something.

the one that was actually adopted by the Army, the M8 Buford (Oct’95 2nd ACR), is non-TT in WT
but its modern sequel the XM1302, that got rejected, is now to be considered for TT

It’s the same case with the Sholef. Not too sure why they do this exactly, but we don’t get a say in how they implement things. It puts them in weird predicaments too, because if they ever add the XM1302, it doesn’t make too much sense to be tech tree since XM8 is not, however, if it’s an event vehicle, that is now 3 versions of that tank (if you count CCVL) that are event vehicles, which will not be received well.

doubt gaijin would ever model it since the netting on the challenger 2F, TES and OES all should reduce its thermal signature but in game they dont
Eh Gaijin will just make those useless by forcing them to always take the BUSK package like they did with the SEPv2.
