Yes, with how missiles are progressing i think it’s been overdue for the EFT to get a radar that lets it act as sort of a mini-AWACS.

Just give us P-Track already Gaijin, and apparently the F-16A MLU and AM should have some sort of P-Track that gives faster updates on the selected target(so 1 not 6 but still), so it’s 2 birds with 1 stone.

I don’t know the full extent of what is and isn’t classified on the Su-30 and Su-27, but I know that the FM in game, regardless of what has been published, is incorrect, and remains incorrect.
Just because your FM can’t be fully deciphered without classified docs doesn’t mean those with more public documentation are being represented properly as well.

Not that I’ve ever seen and we have images of Marte-ER on those pylons which are far larger iirc (though would have to double check that)
As I said in isolated skirmishes sure having an AESA with no command and control/support assets absolutely. But in combat now it’s the EAWACS airframes that are providing DL and targets.
In the likely INDOPACIFIC theatre Aircraft/land based Radars and Surface fleets will provide DL
Yes and with drones you can use a F-35 or J-20 AESA as an additional EAWACS airframe.
Honestly I dislike all mechanical radars now after having played the Kfir C.10 and Rafale. Like I don’t know, it just feels so handicapped/limited.
It’s more frustrating having to cycle 3 different modes to try and lock something infront of you

If Gaijin wants to keep making the BP worse and worse with each one they could atleast let us choose the crate reward.

I’ve never played aesa or pesa radars but the M-Scan on the typhoon is still ok, i’m at a disadvantage against aesa/pesa in some situations tho, which sucks but i make it work.
The best advantage AESA/PESA has in game in my opinion is the VERY High Elevation Scan it offers (30 degrees for Rafale, for comparison EF has 8 max), which make it so no plane can surprise you from above or even below, yeah updated tws contacts every milliseconds are also nice, but the EF should have a discount version of that(every 2 sec).
