Could be multiple things like new Thailand jet/or another nation or older Japanese jets heck god forbid another “what-if” jet like F-16AJ…he’s just saying that after 2 years since they said we would have to wait “a few major updates” for F-2 he’s not holding his breath.

The Su27sm2 is a tech demonstrator and not a jet that was actually in service.
The Su27sm3 is basically what we already have ingame, with the only difference that it should have two extra wing pylons instead of the double pylons (at the end it will still carry the same amount of missiles). The Su27sm3 also didn’t get an upgraded radar over the N001VEP
Another Phantom variant or another F-104. they also only said Jet for Japan and not Japanese jet so it can be Thai

Yes well… you can blame the fact that the F-2 is completely overpowered… eventually it will find its way in game

I suppose in 2030 might see AIM-120D-3, PL-15 and Meteor
They’ll wait for two things, 1. The IRCCM, which IIR and stuff are not in game, and are hard to implement
2. The 625E and IRIS-T to see how they work on SPAA first.

Its not better in anyway than Rafale, Su-30SM and more or less EF-2000 - how is it “OP” when modelled correctly and all public data?
It doesn’t even have a HMS, at all.
Even if the Devs were implementing J/APQ-1 Transmitter for AAM-4 (only used on J/APG-2 btw), it still has access to just four of them. Even though the F-15J(M) should also have the special transmittier.

i think that’s probably when the first F-16s was introduced to the game
then again they don’t even model AESA correctly even now. so i don’t know what is it that overpowered

Yeah…with the way AESA performs they easily could of added XF-2 of some kind with sparrows and Aim-9Ls all the way back…especially since sparrows wouldn’t even take full advantage of the radar anyway you’d still need a full lock maybe better scan and better tracking from the mother plane but once the missile leaves its still just a sparrow…XF-2A would of avoided the whole F-16AJ drama which the only good thing would of been the MAVs it has but still.
