There is no such nation of origin rule, and hasn’t for years (it’s more correct to say it’s more likely but not guaranteed)
Gaijin adds tech whatever Nation they feel needed if their is no home.
Take the Indian T-90 didn’t come with an Indian sub-tree (that can nearly a year later). Instead cane with an announcement that Gaijin would add vehicles from any Commonwealth nation if the UK could uses it. (Along with indicating the UK will have higher priority on where domestic vehicles have come with nations would be placed)
There’s plenty more examples of Nations getting vehicles they shouldn’t have in the first place, some come with a sub-tree announcement down the line but it’s not guaranteed.
its .3 BR higher then the F6 and has better AAM, FnF missile (the UK dont get their first FnF missile until 10.7) and actually has countermeasures and a decent bit for 10.0
Just means that Canada exports a good amount of things tbh.
Look at the CL-13, its in the German and Italian trees.
Canada donated modified Mosquitos to China.
There’s the Skink and CANADATS in the British tree.
Apart from that, a good chunk of Canadian stuff is in the British tree.
And Canada just doesn’t make sense to be in the Japanese tree.
There’s already been Canadian planes/jets approved by the suggestion mods for the British tree such as the CF-100 series.
You mean ask for vehicles from that country? I can ask for a Saudi F-15 while not asking for the whole nation just like they can add the Iranian F-14 without adding a whole Iranian subtree
It’s funny to see how defensive you get about it when the same thing is being reversed on you. No I have no interest in Japan getting another fictional vehicle.
I’m not being defensive though?
You came barging in when I posted the LAV 6.0 regarding a conversation that Ryder, Smug, and I were having, and mentioned Japan as an interesting thing that I found.
What was otherwise a normal discussion between 3 people (and was a joke suggestion at that) then became a show all about you.
As a real Canadian vehicle I have no issue with this going to UK. Although I keep on forgetting it’s a different plane from the F-100 bc of CF-xxx naming scheme
They were selected to be part of the competition to replace the Type 96, not the winner (and as you said they ended up not even participating), so slightly off. It would be pretty F-16AJ levels of stretch considering a vehicle wasn’t even delivered by GDLS to the trials.
