And the Emirati Pantsir on a MAN truck for Germany, because who needs indigenous vehicles?
I mean no offense by this, but I truly wish your prediction is not true. A 7th air focused update in a row? I understand that air is a major part of this game, and I will admit, me not wanting your prediction to be true is purely selfish on my part as I wish to see more ground vehicles. However, based on what I have read on here (which could be completely misguided) each nation needs better anti air (which you did list) but also most nations need more gaps filled in ground. Ground maps are also abysmal, there are only a handful of maps that don’t have problems with spawn camping (or at least have the ability to counter spawn camping), and engine sounds could use an update as well. I suppose things you predict could still be added, but the problem is, I feel like some of those features would be seen as major in the eyes of Gaijin, therefore decreasing the amount of content in the update. Then again, I could be completely wrong. Sorry for complaining as well.
this would be nice if it was a battle pass or event
I feel like we are gonna get another sub in this update, they said they will be focusing in them this new more than a new nation. With 1 out of 5 updates to go this one is the most likely imho.
The only one that makes sense would be Thailand ground. I doubt they would add a new sub tree before “finishing” the one they added most recently.
EDIT: I don’t think they said they would focus on sub trees in general though. Just that they’d focus on sub trees instead of new nations.
"Q: War Thunder is constantly expanding with new vehicles from other nations, which are implemented into nations already in the game. But are there any plans for separate standalone nations in the future in addition to the 10 already present in the game?
A: Yes, we have plans for separate new nations. But next year, we’ll focus on filling the gaps in existing trees, including adding subtrees of other nations to them, and adding new types of vehicles."
They are defo talking about more than one but I could be wrong but to me seems like they want to fill gaps via subs too.
When do you think they will add XM2000 for U.S.A. a modern SPH with a LRF.
Doubt any time soon but I would suggest making a suggestion for it on the suggestion page
I think most of this is wishful thinking.
I would be deeply surprised if Gaijin added more advanced ARH missiles to blufor, since those plane and kit combinations are in many cases so overwhelming. Pretty sure the only reason R-77-1 was added is R-77 is so horrid and Gaijin don’t believe R-77-1 is much better than the R-77.
I really don’t think we’re going to get stronger ir missiles either.
I think we’re probably guaranteed to see some 4th gen, maybe 4.5 gen planes, would be nice to have something that can contest Rafales, Typhoons and Eagles.
If we’re very lucky, we might see SPAA, but my feelings suggest we are going to see another de-facto air update. Probably that’s all we’ll get for majors until we reach late 5th gens.
I have no optimism in my thinking here, just seems that’s the way of things now.
The wildcard is that maybe we get infantry this year. I really don’t think that was just April fools.
Would be extremely trolly if the R-27EA is added and it is exclusive to MiG-29K for UK. Not a fan of Indian imported vehicles but it could possibly happen. Looking at the netz mod, it may even be an event aircraft.
R27EA was a prototype and will never be added it be like adding AIM-9R
Or like adding SRAAM. Wait…
still waiting on a updated Aim-9M
Wasn’t R-27EA never made? I think its just a paper missile
yeah pretty sure
SRAAM was test fired 8 times, which is why it got added, though in a massively nerfed state
Like a few other missiles in game.
So at least AIM-9R should be fine then, idk about R-27EA
same time I wonder when they will add AS90 still havent gotten a domestic british SPH
I made the topic but it needs to be reviewed and accepted I wonder how long that will take.
