iirc AI aircraft are on rails basically, they’re as fast as needed to get to the next waypoint on their path.

i don’t think so, there’s usually a fair amount of time between an event and its introduction in game.
I think submarines are more likely, but it could also be a normal patch with no new vehicle class/mechanic
The new SAMs I expect to see in the third update with expanded A2G capabilities like ARMs and hopefully FnF Brimstones coming in the December one.
Would be the most Gaijin thing to do. Finally buff SPAA to at least stand a chance against current CAS, only to handhold CAS even more by making them even more braindead easy by buffing them 1-2 updates later.

Yes we need a new damage model, especially at top tier. With new HMD and missiles too many times dead aircraft are spite launching missiles collecting kills when they should be eliminated from the game.
I love watching a spiraling Su-30SM just vomit all their missiles while using the HMD

I’d expect leaks to arrive starting may at the soonest.
Update usually is between very end of may and mid June, and leaks start a few weeks prior
The leak for last year’s summer update came on the 3rd of May so it shouldn’t be too long until we see something.
If I remember correctly, last years summer update was also delayed in comparison to earlier years with the Teaser only dropping on the 30th of may.
Other Summer updates like “starfighters” released on the 26th of may.
But then again we do not know how developement is coming along so this year the teaser might drop in june.

Starfighters was the last update to drop on may aparenty.
I hope that the Fulcrum line finally gets something new next patch… A thrust vectoring MiG-29 could be huge.
Yakovlev line hasnt got anything new top tier since 2023, but tbf there are nothing more on the table since Su-33, a naval aircraft, is made into SQV
The MiG-29K is an option due to being a naval aircraft.
The YAK-130 is such a pretty plane, would love to see it in game
