maybe turning while sustaining mach 3 at like 80k feet, but ive heard A-12 series had solid performance at lower speeds. not a dogfighter ofc, but still
SR-71 manual says a little over 50 nmi radius @ M3.2 and 44 deg bank angle, and a little under 40 nmi @ M2.8
Yee, had this bug also but with an German F-18(Yes, German/sadly in the end it was the US Premium version which somehow turned up in Germany)and an German Eurofighter
Bug Thunder
I’ve been seeing enemy chat messages (like drone pings) occasionally pop up in my chat and on my mini-map.
Also, does the Obj 292 have blowout panels for the charges? I swear it used to, but I got hit in the charges and exploded. On top of that, I’m loading it with only APFSDS shells, yet still explode when the rounds in the carousel get hit.
Gaijin, fix your game.
Why is it that people always say it’s a copy and paste of Germany, Russia I understand but Germany, some captured tanks and leopards which we are planning to retire soon anyway.
Either all of these unrealistic vehicles should stay or all of them should be hidden and banned from being used in Sim modes.
Where possible a realistic version should also be added (Panther II without the 88, Panther F in the F turret (Schmalturm) on G hull configuration, the real Ho-Ri).
But to be honest I’d just prefer if they just kept these vehicles available to everyone, make the Tiger 2 10.5 more realistic by reworking the turret layout (no more rangefinder), and otherwise just accept unfinished vehicles if the designs were plausible (the suggestions rules seem like a fair standard).
On one hand I’d like them to stay so long as they are historical and not just “based on historical”, like the R2Y2s with engine configurations and cannons that the real design never had. (And in those cases fix them to be historical, or at least replace them with historical versions)
But even then I feel like there needs to be a clear cut line. There’s fully historical paper designs that really never went past the idea stage and just literally don’t have the information needed, and that might be too far. But going with a fishy “we do what we feel like” approach to filter these out is just plain unfair to players.
So personally I like the suggestion rules, the unfinished prototype. If any vehicle specific part was constructed, it’s an unfinished prototype. If a vehicle is that or anything more, it can be added, if not it’s not.
But then on the other hand, I can see even a historical Ho-Ri being a pain for a Sim player. Sim battles might go for more historically aligned lineup selections, maybe even as a rotating event thing. Or maybe have a sim setting where you can have vehicles tagged as Historical (used in service), Semi-Historical (finished, non-service) or Ahistorical (Unfinished) and then just get matched with others that use similar tags. Make the default historical, give a pop-up to allow other vehicles if you put any in your lineups.
