Idk I guess my mindset goes to is it much different from the KH-38 if we limit it to IIR?
The problem is that its only IR in terminal phase. So unless they just ahistorically model it. It would still need some form of IOG at the very least. Which would still allow for base killing most likely
Historically Brimstones are mmW.
Yeah… but you are forgetting Britain Tax.
If Vikhrs were MMW, they would probably have been fine.
Idk. All i know is the brimstones being mmW is locking them out of FnF. But other options like the spear and shadowstorm exist.
Yeah, even just Brimstone 3s and giving them 0 Drift IOG would probably be enough “FnF” for now.
But nope, Typhoon has to have a ahsitorically modeled version of an AGM it never actually carried (First Brimstone it equipped was the Brimstone 2)
ik, thats why i said this specifically
all this i agree wholeheartedly
100% fixed Typhoon. Yes, probably could just about compete with F-15C with AESA. But the likelyhood is, the F-15C is going to get AESA long ebfore we see the Typhoons get CAPTOR-M
well they were the 2nd jet to get AESA operationally after all. even before the Typhoon with CAPTOR M was operational :P
Kinda falls into where the F-2 is if you think about it.
Yeah, that is going to be DOA. Kinda sad actually
its gonna end up like the hornet unfortunately
No you heard Gaijin war thunder isn’t ready for the F-2.
Although they might be right testing the radar on the kfir c.10 i think they have asea modeled wrong.
Yeah, AESA is basically just very fast M-scan with a few extra bells and whistles. But still blows any M-Scan except wierdly the Foxhunter, out of the water.
your selling it a bit short tbh
in game*
Asea should be able to maintain lock while scanning. If I remember correctly while it is scanning it should be able to hold a signal on an targeted located aircraft.
Here you can see it pretty much has multiple scan sectors and the speed is quite insane.
Yep, Though I doubt Gaijin will ever be able to model that correctly.
With how bad mechanical radars feel yeah I won’t hold my breath.
