Customers for the most part are unknowledgeable and will often ask for unreasonable things, many times things that they themselves will dislike eventually
The aircraft reward for the event is the H.P.12 Bomber.

The “Customer” has been asking for historical matchmaking for years
Do you know what would happen the same hour historical matchmaking was added? Half the playerbase would quit and start protesting how unbalanced it is
The Zeppelin is very unlikely to come in this event, as it has been essentially hard-denied aswell. There is no point in asking again and again
Could we see a re-run with this test for remembrance day, with other WW1 vehicles as rewards ?
That could be a way to add more WW1 tech

Everything is possible, it all depends on how busy the dev team is at the time as well as how much interest there is from the community.

Well, the Zeppelin isn’t coming sadly, now that it has been game, I think we can suggest vehicles of it class, which would be nice.

Germany has 3 tanks as their reward vehicles for the event.
Britain 1 tank and 1 plane
France and Russia 1 ground vehicle respectively.

Remember that there are significant costs for these events without the expectation of any return since you can’t buy any of the vehicles themselves with GE

On the bright side, this makes it easier to introduce a permanent techtree Zeppelin once WWI is inevitably added some time down the line of the games life. Just a simple port from the event, rather than having to make new textures and turn the old (current) rewards into specific named tanks.
I’m hopeful that this event will show Gaijin just how much money people would be willing to spend if we had permanent WWI. I know a lot of people that just bought all the points so far and plan to buy all others, and some that picked up the game again because of how excited they are about WWI content.
Even if it’s not confirmed yet, this at least proves there’s nothing preventing it in the future, and I’m sure Gaijin won’t let the game die when there’s still money to be made.

The discrepancy between the name of the nodes and the actual textures is kind of funny:

Nothing really indicating that when some of the most viable ground vehicles are being locked to event-unlock-into-techtree like the IS-2 No.321.

Nothing guarantees it, but when a whole era of aviation and tank design is missing to profit off I’m sure the game won’t die before it’s sucked dry.

They refuse to consistently add WW2, Cold War and Korean War content, what makes you think that they would invest into the least popular era when it comes to vehicular combat games?
Yeah everything come from somewhere with gaijin and that mainly through the April fools event, remember how they tested modern tanks and helicopters with the rank IX event. The same could be said for this WW1 event too.
