Though it 's possible that there are missions scenarios unique to Aces which were simply not shown in this short trailer.
I noted above that the aircraft carriers and ships were the more modern type; if ( some unknown portion of ) the singleplayer missions in Aces are simply the existing ones from WT upgraded to use player-modelled high detail vehicles as AI, similar to the upgrades we saw of the Pacific Campaign missions after new aircraft carriers were added at the end of 2022 ( incl. the IJN Shokaku seen in the new trailer ).
Then it might be possible that those same upgrades might be applied to those same single missions here in WT.
I’d prefer if they just dropped the single-player missions idea (keep the ones that already are in the game tho) and work more on co-op modes and missions
I think some single-player missions and some co-op missions would be nice to see. Or we could just get co-op missions but have the option to either fly with other players or AI.
Yeah every time I blink there’s a new bug. You expect it in the dev server but it shouldn’t be this bad in the live server. Like with any key press there’s and issue.
What are people’s thoughts of the update so far?
Personally, not much stood out to me apart from some of the ground map updates, and the WW2 vehicles for Britain, France, and Germany were nice. Squadron vehicle for China is also nice.
Love it. Getting a nasty kill with a cobra from time to time. Almost dying in high AoA stunts from time to time. Flankers finally pull and don’t feel useless… Love it.
Vehicles? Did I miss something? We only got Harry, who while funny, can’t replace any vehicle in my lineup at that BR.
The other thing is the Rapier, which they completely and utterly failed to implement right.
Best thing in the update so far is the recycling option, otherwise this is a nothingburger update as always
This accurately represents how I feel about the update
New aircraft are cool. But horrible to play. Not only with the gameplay itself but the amount of bugs. Stock grinding the new aircraft was genuine torture. I started on the F/A-18C Late and I’m not ashamed to say I GE’d the mods I wanted.
12.0 is my limit, possibly 12.3. Any higher and it’s just awful playing ARB. From 12.7 up there’s only fun in Sim. The lack of new gamemodes to cater to top tier is tragic.
