Oh my god, I would never put so much effort into anything but to obtain those two vehicles. What are the chances any of them are tech tree though?

I don’t think they’d fit correctly, but i heard that the CATTB is more armored so maybe after the M1A1 HC?

cockerill 90 has APFSDS, and if only have HEAT, still useable, but in much lower br.
Oh for sure after the HC. I have a 166 page PDF that is an analysis of the CATTB, I’m sure somewhere within its content there is information regarding most specifications of the tank, such as armor values, maneuverability, gun handling etc. Problem is my internet is too bad to load it all up. The information in the PDF IS unclassified.

I used not to look forward to them because I thought they were just M1A1s with big gun… so the weak turret and bad thermals put me off.
But turns out that CATTB has;
1- Second generation thermals.
2- Increased turret armor.
3- Quite fast autoloader.
Therefore, ever since I learned that, I wouldn’t say “no” to it!

It also was proven to have spall liners and it has LWS on it too.

Thumper is more likely to be an event vehicle given it was kinda a more neach prototype testing some stuff regarding expanded 120mm and 140mm stuff. The CATTB on the otherhand was a vastly more developed system that had alot more potential for service however never made it thanks to budget cuts since the USSR went the way of the DoDo

Everything you said is true, but it still has the same weak spot as all other Abram’s, which is the drivers port. It would be hard to fight, yes, but still possible to kill quite easily.
this is the first iv seen someone say the Abrams weak spot is the drivers port. Usually they say its the turret neck or mantlet
Unfortunately, that goes for every Abrams; even v4.
So the best we can aspire to is better firepower and glacis armor! (Leaving aside fixes)
honestly the best thing about CATTB is the battle skirt
