France and Italy in perticular would get nothing otherwise and it saves spamming F-18s onto every tree.
There will be a suggestion made for an EAP skin for the Typhoon :P
I mean the T.1 and the F/A-18A+/C will be fairly similar so I can see that 100% and we’ve already the J-10 and the Gripen which you combine the 2 and have the EF basically
i just don’t see all these models coming out in the same update, i guess. unless i’m just underestimating december updates or something
Its 5 new airframes (F-2, F-18, Typhoon, Rafale and Su-30). 6 depending on what israel gets. China im guessing will get a later variant of an existing aircraft.
Last year in December we got
F-15 (US, Japan and Israel)
Su-27 / J-11 (Soviets and China)
Gripen A & C (Sweden and Britain)
AMX (Italy)
Mirage 4K (France)
So thats 5 new airframes in 1 update.

AESA is over-feared for war thunder contexts, unless its properly implemented. I can pick up a piece of AESA in tarkov and expect it to prove more worth than AESA in war thunder.

But yeah, I cant think of any reason to delay aircraft like the Typhoon or Rafale, especially after the F-15E
I defo think they will hype up this update with more 4th gen jets, it’s like there main selling point now

i guess i always thought they would stretch it out because we are getting pretty close to totally modern stuff. it would be good practice to keep hyping up EF and Rafale by giving them individual updates, no?
or i should just accept the fact that Gaijin isn’t a normal company and they can do whatever tf they want :)
They never worked it like that they either gave the US and Russia a pair then gave everyone else the tip bits the update afterwards.
Now since Apex they seemingly going down the road of let’s give everyone something and just add variants throughout the year.

I would rather have similar non-top tier addition for Italy this Winter update instead of another non-Italian top tier jet.

I doubt BMD-1s will get much love at all, it has mobility but nonexistant armor and pretty tough weapon system. AFAIK it doesnt have konkurs so its stuck with 73mm and malyutkas. The BMD-2 should be better.
