From a healthy view, top tier shouldnt be the focus anymore.
Russian top tier MBTs are 5th place in terms of how good they are compared to what other countries have. Germany, Italy, Sweden and Japan have better top tier MBTs.

Just because a vehicle is a downgrade of another doesn’t t mean it will be bad in game, from the way you describe it it sounds like a sidegrade of the MBT-2000 (worse mobility, better armor), or could potentially go lower depending on the shell it is given.

Russian ground does NOT suffer.
But reverse speed, autoloading being slower now than these magical pervitin-doped loaders, and the technical limits of the 3BM60 leave Russia at the high-water mark for ground without adding the Object 195 or T-14, which will get better rounds and inevitably create a great sh*tstorm that the lame af Obj.292 did.
All trees have needs, so I’m not complaining from the perspective of Russia being broken or trash in ground, but we really need more wheeled vehicles. Zhalo would be a slam-dunk premium/squadron/event vehicle, BTR-82 with ATGM would be an easy add, BTR-90 would be swell, and if we were so blessed as to get the Swedish T-80U treatment, a Centauro II could be added. That’s without mentioning Bumerang, which should be added at this point imo, considering everyone else has a boxer or boxer-esque vehicle.
Slow your roll chief! T-90M is very good, but it’s no Leo2A7 or Strv122.
Please for the love of god specify which ERA. Relikt is the best ERA in the world right now for good reason.

Frankly, yes. Pantsir, Ka-52/Mi-28’s, Su-34, T-90M, T-80BVM… Light tanks are lacking, but it’s not like the 2S25M and 2S38 are lacking when played right.
I’d say minus the Pantsir, it’s the most balanced in all areas for combined warfare.
Wheeled tanks, otherwise, just standard editions to keep us up with the rest of em.
