Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Last year we only got 4 devblogs and the trailer dropped on Wednesday December 6th, if it drops on the 5th this year we would have maximum 3 devblogs…guess the wait has to continue until next week then

Considering Chinese MBT’s best APFSDS is still 577mm pen, ROC M1A2T or T84 can’t save them, it will make China close to British or France, the only thing they can do is add more C&Ps

Considering the BR the F-2 will have you will probably get shot down by a fox 3 missile a second after you spawn

honestly i’m glad it came - twas an unexpected treat, but a welcome one

It’s the order we are unhappy about.

Having a load of Magach and Tiran variants, in the long term, is a good thing. But they should come after the unique stuff.

We don’t need 17 Magachs when we have 0 top tier AA’s, (Or the laundry list of other capability black holes in the tree). But once all those gaps are filled, then it’s fine to have infinite Magachs added.

The problem isn’t what they’re adding, it’s what they’re not adding.

Yeah, the Russian helis seem to be simply on a whole different league. Sadly that’s the ONE tree I never bothered to start. And it’s huge. So xD.

YOU FOOL, they asked for an inch and you gave them a mile! next they’ll request something outlandish like the EAP

Is it safe to enter again ?

tbh recently Vhikers have kinda felt meh to me, and even friends who main Heli’s say that they’ll either just rocket rush or use SPIKE carriers as opposed to laser guided ATGMs

Though given a choice between Hellfire or Vikhrs, Im guessing they would pick Vikhrs

obv

Tbh, now that a handful of other countries have started to receive F&F missiles, Russian Heli’s single biggest strength is that they’re the only ones that don’t have to face Pantsirs lol.

Which is why the “Absolute no alternative to mmV” stance sucks so much. US and Britain (and I think Japan as well?) are screwed when it comes to top tier helis.

If you pay attention to the hull, it has a few features that allows us to designate is as of Israeli origin, thus making it a Magach. I believe it’s identified as using an Israeli Magach 3 (modified M48A3) hull.

I can get you specific information for identifying that it is indeed a Magach hull used on this prototype if you’d like.

They’re OK. Not the best. Pretty bad tracking, far too slow, hit random parts of the enemy, bounces off roofs of pantsirs/abrams, better hope there’s not a tree in the way, hopefully your team doesn’t kill the enemy before your brick gets there.
Nerf to the heli’s thermals also sucks.
ATAS are not even worth taking.
No turret which sucks
You only get enough CMs for 1 missile, then they’re gone.

I guess if you want to shoot then duck and hide, its pretty good. But you only get 8 missiles, compared to a max of 16 on other helis. Highly situational, really can’t be used on a super urban / building ridden map.

I expect it to be a further refinement of features introduced in the last update. Unless there are some remaining points from the roadmap?

dont get me started on mmV seeker stance. I loved seeing several people talking about “Oh Brimstones are good just learn how to use them smh”

Yeah I’ve seen plenty of GR4s while playing GRB, I have yet to see a single successful Brimstone kill. Because they either get slapped out of the air by SPAA or get dogged on by aircraft better at A2A

Having missiles that deal minimal damage is still better than having missiles that you literally cannot guide to your target because you would get shredded after 2 seconds of prolonged exposure

That being said can we finally start getting some unique Israeli vehicles to the techtree? There are plenty of modernizations and export vehicles made in Israel that could be added. If we actually tried we could even get Israel down too rank 1 without issues.

Another thing is subtree that is long overdue…

Modern smoke grenades contains chaffs that would throw off MMV, just implement that and it should be fine. Plus britain has martlets
