The complaint then would just be ‘why do I have to grind the same aircraft twice’.
This is how we ended up with F-15E getting 229’s even though Gaijin would have likely added a second one featuring those engines. US mains did not care for the long term benefit of having two things at different BR’s, they just wanted best possible thing in the here and now.

My sinceriest reaction:
Thing is almost as big as Abrams while also being taller. Cant be airdropped, goes barely faster than latest M1 while still being obese. All that mentioned yet it still doesnt have reasonable armor or gun for cosplaying this not-an-mbt-or-light-tank-MBT.

Who is booker even for? Airborne ? But can’t be airdropped ?
My understanding is that the Booker’s advantages are purely logistical. It’s cheaper to run and easier to maintain than an Abrams, which means it’s much more efficient to equip lighter units with Bookers as support than to equip them with Abrams.
Also I’m pretty sure the Booker is at least air mobile, which is a huge advantage over the Abrams, the US isn’t doing combat air drops of light tanks anyway.

But the entire idea of an assault gun offends me.
i kinda get it too, the 105 is lacking against enemy MBT but can deal with basically everything else for less than a 120
Not to mention less fuel hungry.
