Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

It originates from 1995 “Operation Deny Flight”

The new radar would come to be regarded as one of the most capable sensors in the world. And armed with that, and four AMRAAM medium-range missiles hanging from the pylons, the Sea Harrier FA.2 became a hugely potent air defender, capable of tracking and destroying multiple different targets simultaneously at distances of 40 miles or more. In its combat debut over Bosnia in 1995 during Operation DENY FLIGHT, FA.2 pilots were denied the possibility of a few long-range kills. The NATO Air Commander had simply not believed Blue Vixen capable of picking up targets invisible to the patrolling AWACS jets. Once shown video of the SHARs tracking four bogeys flying low over land he was persuaded, though. The next day he briefed his staff that contacts detected by upgraded SHARs were to be believed because it was, he said, ‘the little aircraft with the big dick radar’.

For subtrees yeah, but i just want something that’s on par with 2A7V and T-90M

No these will be going to Germany China and Italy, maybe Swedish trialed abrams as well

I mean it wouldnt be in US techtree thats for one lol

Well then just individual vehicles for different TTs i guess. And Sweden doesn’t need any more MBTs lol, they already have one of the, if not the best.

nah, for japan just give me a tank that can survive a hit, i dont need anything that will say “nuh-uh” to armor and i would be happy, the Type 10/TKX’s and the type 90s are more than capable of dismantling tanks, but they are 1 tap magnets, give me something that can survive one shot, just to help hold a line and not feel like i am driving something made of shredded fiber glass held together with resin…

Oplot should be adequate. Nizh would be uninterpretably overpowered.

Japan should get their stuff fixed atleast. I don’t know of any other MBTs for you though.

Please no, France already got the Leopard treatment. Other nations don’t need an Abrams treatment

I dont like the concept, but tbf its a good way to measure how good or bad it is.

Only nation that kinda has a good chance at getting the abrams realistically is China tbh

The type 10 lacks protection in quite a lot of directions, there will still be little room for error even if its turret armor is adequately realized. I am not counting on subtrees but the oplot would be a lot more error lenient.

They arrived in Taiwan like 2 months ago

I made it to the end of the Japanese land tree, and yes, Type 81 is a good SAM, but if the weather is bad, it won’t lock up easily, or if there are trees or other objects, or if there are mountains behind the aircraft, it won’t lock up.

i mean there is the prototype of the type 10 with the mitsubishi Hard kill APS system they could add, but as far as subtree wise thailand would bring the NORINCO VT4-A1 (no APS version) and the T-84 Oplot-T the latter though i dont think will come due to… reasons (dont smack me for that mods please) but thats about it unless more ASEAN vehicles go to japan ground.

but more ground vehicles will not solve japans problems that are CAS related though

Btw has there actually been any signs of new Abrams coming next update? None are currently listed on the leak lists but these lists are supposedly not full yet.

Theres literally nothing tech tree wise at all for either usa or sweden on the leaks, unfortunately.

RDF/LT and a weird boxy thing was listed for the US TT.

Gotta add that the AAAV would be incredibly boring as an event or premium as well. Its fast on water and thats the only thing it stands out.
