At least don’t ask for a top tier plane right after we just got one?
Mayhaps ask for one that would be a little bit lower? Maybe one that begins with F and ends with 106? Its still a new fighter jet after all.

Didn’t Japan enquire about purchasing it, sure they were knocked back and bought the F-15s instead.

The models people make of the F-14 and F-22 in Sea blue look so good. I’d gladly overlook another F-16AJ situation if it was the F-14 in that beautiful, sexy blue.

Well, Sweden operates the Falcon and Super Falcon missiles too. Not every update needs a new top tier jet (not just saying this because I don’t like it), there’s tons of props and jets that can and should be added but are getting left behind because of the turbo focus on top tier.

No it doesn’t. F-15E is the worst WVR F-15 version, even Su-27 is better WVR than the F-15E.
And for time to climb, we haven’t tested ourselves with if it’s truly notably better than F-15C MSIP II or not.
We also don’t know what time to max speed is, all require testing.
F-15E is 23% faster than F-15C in time to climb [7000 meters] + 2000kph.
All I know is Yak-141 and F-15E aren’t being beaten by Typhoon or Rafale when fuel time and/or fuel load is equalized.
F-15C MSIP II has always been Typhoon equivalent.
I mean F-15E is hands down better than F-15C or any other non E F-15. It doesnt need testing for people to see that

While it’s said that the results differ depending on the model of CAPTOR, the fact remains that unless it’s upgraded to CAPTOR-E, CAPTOR is still a PD radar developed as an evolution of the Blue Vixen radar used in the Sea Harrier FA.Mk2. No matter how it’s compared to early AESA or PESA radars, there is likely to be a clear difference. It’s physically impossible for it to perform the same way.
Im fine with them ending top tier where it is after eurofighter and the hornet, even if it leaves eurofighter ahead. I just want all the cold war planes.

Everything else it’s equal except WVR where F-15E is inferior.
F-15E is trade-offs, not objectively superior.

In terms of functions that’s true. However, we have to look at it through the lens of WT. Gaijin simplifies certain elements, sometimes because it’s irrelevant for gameplay, sometimes because it’s bad for gameplay.
As far as we know, AESA and PESA will just be a faster scanning PD radar, just like we see on the Su-34.
There was proposals for a modernized F-22 (based on an FB-22 design, also using Japanese engines) for F-X before GCAP was selected. F-23 was also proposed iirc
Not exactly fit for the game though, as it was only a rejected proposal and that for a variant that was never built though, so it’d be F-16AJ all over again.
It is objectively superior when its the one that dictates the fight. Rest of the jets can just watch and adapt to it
