I thought the only difference (that matters in WT) was an upgraded transmission.
Anyway I think the Armata would probably be the best tank at top tier if added anyway, but if/when we get the KF51 or the 2A8, the T-14 will be a nice counterpart.

Do we have actual trustworthy proof that the Obr 2023 having a better reverse speed?
Last time I checked was last year there was this really shady video from the people that make the BVM that was completely untrustworthy.

Pretty much every news source I can find points to that as the main difference between it and older variants. I don’t see why Uralvagonzavod would lie about it, they could just say T-80BVM production has restarted without claiming the improved transmission, but i guess we’ll see.
About the round, 3BM59 would be about as good as Type 10 or DM53 (fired from L/44) in terms of performance, a definite upgrade. It uses DU instead of Tungsten (which 3BM60 uses)
