Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Here’s to 2025!

Yeah. Would be nice if all nations got good stuff instead of Giving US the best plane and then giving the US another best plane that bests their old best plane.

Imagine people were scared about Su-34…

Su-33 (Su-27K) may well just be the kind of plane that should’ve been added in June, thanks to having actual engines.

Typhoon for GB may well be totally insane in Air RB.

Time for GB to eat for just the one patch.

tbf that was less for A2A and more for A2G which is justified with 6 KH38MTs lol

Except that one was big this time and was deployed much later than expected, so there is little time for december one this time.

No? All Tranche 1 are air-to-air only.

That about covers it so far.

You know they still could have worked on december update, while fixing the delayed one.

I found 3 comments in the last 24H.

Aka I think it’s time to step back

no? the FGR4 is a trench 1 blk5 at the earliest so trenche 1s can defiantly be multirole

Just to make sure…you aren’t confusing IRST (Infrared search and track) with IRIS-T (the missile)

German and Italian Tranche 1 are air to air only.

yeah i looked into it a bit and it looks to me that since 1998 the first time the PzH received major changes were the Hungarian and Qatar orders. Both have night and day driver support system optics, and new air conditioning. I know that the Hungarian version has a new automatic loader and fire control system, but I am still searching for a printed source.

oh no I mean IRST, being able to lock a target from 20km out with it and them having no idea you launched an ASRAAM will be insane lol

F3.2 is basically the predecessor of F3R

RBE2 PESA instead of RBE2 AA (AESA), no meteors, but equipped with MICA IRs, EMs and a fair few Strike options, like SCALP (Storm Shadow), AASM (Hammer), Exocet or ASMP-A (funni nuke).

To sum it up, it goes :

F2
F3
F3.2
F3.3
F3.4+
F3-O4T
F3R
F4
F4.1
F4.2

F stands for France, and the number on the right clearly was made up by some people at Dassault, and you can tell they were having a bad day lmao

Then there’s C for “Chasse” M for “Marine”, and B for “Biplace”, but those designation are independant of the version, since all the versions above apply to each category. All in all : quite a happy mess

Well, given how Su-27 bleeds all speed on mild maneuvers, Su-34 is heavier and pulls harder, without thermals and 2 more missiles, difficult to see where the fear could come from.

If it was some kind of multirole strike fighter with reall good power to weight and a decent thermal targeting pod, there would have been good reason for fear.

As it stands, the writing was on the wall and look at what we’ve got ingame. Another Pinata for SPAA.

Ah right. Yeah it will be.

oh fair enough I just assumed the italians and germans also had multirole trenche 1s

I am almost certain we won’t be getting this anytime soon. For good reason too.

I am really not looking forward to these kinds of weapons in the game anytime soon.

R-27ET is already pushing it a bit, and that gets oneflared by accident on a regular basis whilst having atrocious range.

If you now compare 6x KH-38 on an aircraft that can run fox-3s and does have a good radar and are supsonic with adequate handling…To something like the tornado or harriers that make up the core of A2G for multiple nations and you can see where the fear comes from. Especially when the only nation that could really threaten the Su-25SM3 with SPAA was the soviets. Su-34 only makes that worse

that is not what I have seen lol, I’ve seen those things absolutely destroy lobbies because you can just use the thermals on the KH38MT as your pod
