Yeah, it’ll have a niche, but it’s an awkward one.
It’ll be agile, easily one of the best we’ll see before TVC, but lacks the HMD to win that dogfight niche. It’ll also bleed speed a bit more than an F-16A since while it does have a bit better T/W it also has a lot more drag especially armed, and that’s not even comparing it to the F-16Cs T/W.
It’ll have great AESA radar, but only PD missiles anyways and worst of all only 4 of them total, with a questionable possibility of 6 that still won’t make it overpowered. And that is ignoring the fact that Gaijin model AESA like PESA anyways…
The US big 7 is nothing to make fun of considering that is the second nation with 16-in in game. But idk how much the RDF/LT is going to cost, seems like top tier capable.
Gaijin didnt really bother to make a 5th branch for Chinese air tree. The reason is probably Taiwan operated exclusively light fighters but at the mean time the J-10 is as big as a typhoon. Its also possible to save up for a subtree but it is just western designs with a bit of difference to Taiwan stuff.
It is reasonable. Pakistan alone has a few but Id say most of them can just be foldered under ROCAF things since they are similar in weapons, afaik Pakistani F-16s also has restricted A2G since they were transferred to intercept soviet aircrafts flying near Pakistani airspace.
Archangelsk for the soviets but no R class for Britain is indeed infurating, however, I would take the (still in talk) Indian pantsir in return. Both are top tier, seems like a deal.
