J-10B? That sounds not good, as a test aircraft it’s FM is worse than J10A…
It’ll have a PESA radar and more than likely PL-8Bs, however.

I guess? It would be the same way if the USMC was vestigial like other nations “marine” forces and they operated Army battalions instead. Just mobile bases for the expeditionary force. The Corps is also a part of the Department of the Navy.
I didn’t say Marine equipment was silly, I said it can be silly. The LVTP-5 is pretty large and goofy looking, even for an amphibious APC.
yeah, AAV does look pretty funny. its so big and wierd, but it works and doesnt cost as much as the other options

J-10B has a more powerful engine, and it has less drag due to its revised nosecone and DSI intake. I struggle to see how it would have a worse FM compared to J-10A.
Or, shocking, the US isn’t going to get a new upgraded aircraft this update.
