With the time it takes to unlock “free”. It is a pay-wall if you want to play it in the update it is added and not the following update. I think most top tier SQVs take around 9+ weeks to grind. We typically get a new major update every 12 weeks.

They are…two different concepts. The DDR and NVA are an indesputable part of the German history, and its military history. Despite much more reliance on soviet arms than other soviet satelites, whatever the DDR operated was rightfully German. They may be unneccessary to the gameplay, and I would argue only a handful of them are needed(T-55AM2B, SPz BMP-2/C without ATGM, SPz BMP-1/C without ATGM, Fla-Kom Strela-10M2), but at the end of the day, it is as German as other imported weapons in other trees, like French sherman etc.
India on the other hand, can be put into the British tree, if the said Indian vehicles are based on British designs. Bhishma is the only exception, and players has expressed concerns about it. The shamsher and vijanyanta are on the other hand, more British than other 9 existant trees. There are more to come, such as the gnat and SHar FRS.51, perhaps both as event vehicles or GE premium with their British TT equivilant, but this is still a strech to ask for Indian spruts, T-72s or BMP-2s. If anything, the former colonial holdings, aka the raj, also contains modern day Pakistan, so in that logic Britain would get a VT4 as well - not much better than the CR2s unironically.

On top of that, “DU in hull” means nothing without numbers/visualization.
I mainly played top tier, and then moved back to 5.7 after spading the renown and discovering that the colossus is not that fun. Then after spading the london I gave up on cruisers and moved back to 4.7 lobbing 4.5in at people, the grind was much more efficient. My god are the cruisers tough to play, they are not bad, but the crew count will drop hard when any compartments has been struck with a volley. Arguably besides the london and norfolk they all need to go down to 5.3, have not played the southampton yet, rest of the cruisers are not horrible, but frustrating to play.

If the subs are coming this year, they would come the next update, or at least the playtesting of it. XMAS will probably host F-15E, F/A-18C vs Su-30s and hopefully including the EFT, Ra am and J-11B, gotta give them all the cams.
