Bruh, rude, Centurions for days, Centurions for life. Vickers MBTs forevah!.
Also, Indian armour could actually be interesting, if we got the stuff based on UK armour for them/more domestic. Though TBF, the T90 India pushed through with the Russians was a pretty chunky improvement on the T90 original that the Russians had planned IIRC.
Gaijin just havent really picked the interesting/potentially good/cool vehicles sadge.
FR though, the UKs actual interesting point really is 7.0-9.7 for GRB, just gaijin seems to have hopped over it so far for the most part, backfilling there would be really interesting given the UKs cold war crazy plans and ideas. Too much focus on tip top tier.
sadly it never happened so wont be seen in game, thus leaving us with at best the T90S which considering is only 10.3 not much of a help and I would have rather had literally any other dominion from the common wealth
I get the joke but when everyone else is getting leopards and britian gets a copy paste T90 with a worse round and a terrible MBT based on the centurion it feels like more of a slap in the face then gaijin trying to help us
India have some interesting vehicles but also some absolute crap looking at you Arjun.
Currently the issue Britain have isnt 7.0-9.7 its the top tier bracket that is lacking any real competitive tanks.
Which is why I am waiting to see Ex Tank, or the Vijayanta modifications, vickers artillery systems offered to them, etc. (and why i said 7.0 to 9.7 as their point of interest, India has a lot of unique stuff to fill there).
Also, terrible MBT based on Centurion, which do you mean? The Olifant mk2? That things a lovely tank. If you mean the Vijayanta, it isnt based on the Centurion, though often claimed to be due to being similar (it is arguably better for Indian climate along with Africa, which is why it and the mk3 got sales there).
yeah 7.7 is a super strong br, 8.3 is insane. 9.0-9.3 is another really good br, the last good br for the uk is probably 10.3-10.7 with the challenger 1s G-Lynx and vickers mk11
This is why I feel like more ASEAN countries are needed. That way the tree can actually get up to an amount of content equal to other nations, and maybe trade some copy paste options for more carefully picked unique aircraft.
Ideally this’d be only select, more western aligned nations like Singapore and Indonesia. These would have their significant share of unique vehicles rather than pure copies. This could mirror an inevitable Chinese subtree, which could still have a lot more nations than Japans, but is best kept about equal considering China on its own already has more potential new additions.
Sure, just Thailand can make the tree an okay choice, but they would still not be up to standard of nations like Britain or France with their subtrees, which is what a small selection of nations could fix.
Thats because the UK is lacking for top tier as programs pretty much ended for armour/got bogged down in the 90s onwards.
Which is why the focus should be earlier BRs, where the UK actually made stuff that would be “fun”, and not just trying to batter for a Leopard 2 or something. Play to the nations strengths, which is earlier BR groupings. As I said, people put too much focus on the tip top tier, which isnt needed honestly.
britain doesnt need tanks at those br tho thats my whole point, every other sub helps their top tier india and SA do not, they are useless for that fact since neither of them will ever go to 11.7-12.0
Radars have a rcs field. Scout drones have their RCS reduced. I am not sure if other aircraft have it, I couldn’t find much with a quick search. I’ll ask around.
yeah ive given up on gaijin trying to add a challenger well, the 3TD was really good on release then they messed up the model and took a single source (that counterdicts the manufacturers btw) to completely nerf one of its only benefits not to mention the removal of its 5 second reload from the dev server
