on the topic of the M-50
I found an Ancient book about modern aviation, it mentions the M-50 and has it as it’s Logo
the fun part: the author doesn’t know what the M-50 is yet because the book was written just after it’s first public appearance, or rather after the first picture of it (in flight) went around the aviation journals of the time
the author expected it to be Mach 3 min and also that military aviation in the 70s will have made Missiles obsolete by creating long range bombers with a Cruise speed i excess of Mach 5

Well, if there is a variant with such a thick barrel I can’t seem to find any pics of it
maybe a different gun prototype or something
because this AA can also go in the Hungarian and GDR tree where it would fill a gap
it would also not be superior to the Pantsir and thus not be used by most uSSR players

Hungarian is good for now maybe other trees could use a gap fill seeing italy is one the if not the best top tier countries
