I think they don’t folder at the top. So when the top moves up they’ll folder later on.
And it did pretty well, better than the other BMP-1s, their problem of not 50cal resistant and bad mobility arent a big problem in 6.7. Who wouldve thought its missiles were useless half the time.
Gaijin seems to be actively working back to what the game once was and sprinkling in a few QOL improvements here and there to distract players, yeah.
Speeking of Greek BMP-1s, this could be a cool thing, BMP-1 with a ZU-23-2 strapped on top, presumably Greek as well. IDK if it should go to Germany or if it is needed at all, but who doesnt like ZU-23-2 on chassis they are not meant to be on.

This is the first vehicle I’m torn on what tree I reckon it’d be best suited for, either Germany for it being modified from the BMP-1A1 Ost, or Russia due to the hull differences between the BMP-1 and BMP-1A1 Ost being minimal and making no difference for the game.
It seems like gaijin go with the hull, and therefore the German BMP-1 hull makes it German. Also the soviets already have the skrezhet. But again, Greece is not confirmed as a subnation or subtree, so the design decides where it goes.
I still wouldn’t be surprised Gaijin giving ARH to the current F-20 and call it an “amalgamation of several variants” like the MiG-21 SPS-K.
Ideally they should indeed make multiple variants.
Just watch the BP aircraft will be a German captured P51 now instead of something actually interesting

Wouldnt work for F-20. Prototype planned to receive AIM-120 would’ve had an extensive redesign of the wing surface, nose and cockpit. As I said - different vehicle at this point

Ah I see, I didn’t know the changes went that far. Ok that actually throws a huge spanner into the works for my theory the current one will get ARH when everyone has ARH capable Rank 8 premiums.
BUT, it actually is what I wanted because now I can be assured the F-20A won’t move up in Br.
