Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Can’t destroy what doesn’t exist. Excellent strategy.

Its now normal to assume that France might get Leopard 2s but it was absurd for Gaijin to think Canadian Leopards for UK … instead they added a Indian T-90 … lol
UK already got the Leo 2 hull and gun … how harm a turret would’ve done?

I don’t really want another sub tree considering gaijin just dumps copy pastes and expects them to help a nation instead of trying to introduce a new sub-nation that represent a country’s vehicle industry and gain local popularity.

So I will talk about US SPAA. T77 MGMC is not really helping the tree much, so the TCM-20 alike vehicle can be implemented into its place.

2.3 - 4.0 gap can be filled with the chaffee with 6 machine guns

The TCM20 is currently the same BR as the M42, so adding that won’t fill a gap. And it’s honestly not that much more usefull than the M42.

Either that T100 SPAA around 6.3-6.7 or the T77 around 3.3-3.7 and the Skink at 5.3-5.7 or the T77.

T85 could also still be an option.

it can. M42 is not good at being a SPAA, it’s high pen make it’s br too high

Praying for Israel top tier SPAA.

Ironic that they have the iron dome but not enough top tier SPAA in Wt.

Not really considering field of application and purpose

Iron. Dome. is. not. designed. to. shoot. down. planes…
It’s a C-RAM. It’s designed to shoot down incoming rockets.

I think they just wanted to point out that Israel makes impressive missile technology in general, not that they want the Iron Dome in WT

Thank you!
This is the internet after all so I kinda expected serious replies on a not serious post.
Loved the whole “.” separated sentence. Very dramatic.

Eh moving one overtiered SPAA (M42) down to just fill the gap with another overtiered SPAA (TCM20) doesn’t sound like a great solution to me.

Nothing personal but people being completely ignorant about what Iron Dome is and what Israels Air-Defense Systems are has been a long standing theme and has real impact.
This Ignorance/Incompetency is the reason why germany is spending $3.5 billion on Arrow-3 when that system is absolutely and completely useless for germany.
And the toupéed orange is talking about “an Iron Dome” around the US

T77 around 3.3 will be an IFV. Just like the French LVT-4.

There should be a radarless M163 at 6.7, and T100 at 7.7

no, not moving the M42. it still belong to that br. it will more like the 2 on same br, 1 better in SPAA, 1 better in Anti Ground. like the ZSU-572 and ZSU-234m2, or Falcon and Chieftain Marksman(though they are not same but close)

I wasn’t serious about it at all but these two statements made me want to look into the earlier joke I made.
I doesn’t take me long to realise that pretty much any aspect of the iron dome can be used against aircraft to a certain extent and most certainly in War Thunder.

With that said, don’t let forums jokes trigger you with relation to what some orange says. Not good for mental health. Let a joke a be joke.

How would the T100 be 7.7? Their plan to move the M163 to 7.3 has already shown that there is no magical minimum BR for radar SPAA.

Also the T77 is the chaffee with 6x .50 cals. How would that be an IFV?

To add to this, the M163’s radar is so useless I don’t see why there’s so much fearmongering over it going down in BR

I usually just keep it switched off because the lead indicator is rarely correct and it constantly loses track

considering m163’s radar’s performance, I don’t think it can be called a “radar spaa”
