So long as they say out right at the start that it is fake then it’s fine. Then it’s just a bit of harmless speculation and honestly the fakes are still pretty fun to look at.
But then you got some that leave it to the very end or just barely acknowledges that they are fake. Those ones are the problem
I mean he even put “FIRST LEAKS” in the title so the guy knows that it’s fake but yet clickbait the hell out of it and knowingly spreading false information.
In the first video he made, he says something along the lines of “This seems very unlikely, it’s probably fake, but we’ll look at it anyway because it’s fun”
Which I can’t be too mad at. I mean this is the Rumor Roundup thread. We have over four thousand comments of mostly baseless speculation and debate about the next update. The only difference in what we’re doing is that we’re not profiting off of that baseless speculation, but there’s nothing stopping us from making youtube videos on those same subjects.
If one really wants to be informed on the upcoming update, you follow official Gaijin sources. Even the “legit” leaks are not a 100% accurate way to find out about the next update. You can’t really argue that he’s misinforming his audience in a very harmful way. At least, it’s no more harmful than most other clickbait.
