We are approaching a new generation of maps from the snail…
For one map that, apart from an urban area, ALSO has (well, had) a bit of countryside… and it’s all removed…
Just look at this, this is sad. Everyone was dying at the boundary because they were desperately trying to get to the very few meters of countryside left, but it was still considered to be outside the boundaries.
Everyone literally dying to go to the countryside, yet Gaijin still believes that we want the countryside to be blocked so we are forced into the urban area… can’t they see we don’t want to fight on corner labyrinths, but rather, on areas actually suitable for tanks, at least in Top Tier?

Anyway, rant over now that it’s been answered, as it’s off-topic, my bad, hahah.
I really hope Gaijin will overcome the Height map size restriction in the game engine. We really need bigger maps for simulator at rank VII and VIII. Those islands are just too big for the engine right now if we want them 1:1. They would need to be massively scaled down or be only partially in-game with current map sizes.
I really hope we’ll see a new big ARB/ASB map in the next update or after that, at least 128x128km.

Naval maps are indeed sometimes decent:
Some offers spawn protection, if there isnt there arent any for both sides
Got the frontline sections, got the flankers route, got something for everyone to do
Does not favor nor discourage the use of cas
CAS is impossible in naval, especially top tier.
The AI gunners are way to accurate.
I wouldn’t call this “playable”.
But yeah, this is the future of map gameplay and i have no clue why.
Probably because US and RU mains are complaining about being flanked all the time.
They are being flanked because they let themselves being flanked, Italian, Japanese and French MBT’s have NO armour in this game, so they can’t win head-on engagements, thus needing to flank.
High alt bombing with pe8 lancs etc are doable once in every three games, but yes, the AA controlled even by AI has what IRL AA gunner can only dream of.
Also “CAS” in a naval engagement would of course consist of a whole squadron of planes.
Which we don’t get.
So i’m still waiting for playable carriers with self guided squadron planes like in campaign missions.
Or allowing players to join naval battles with their planes only.
That would be so awesome.

hello, there is a bug about J10A and JF17’s cockpit hud doesn’t shows any radar imformation .for example, those two radar’s action whatever lock on or TWS scan out enemy, there nothing shows in cockpit hud.
there is lots of report in issue site, but no one stuff notice them. can you go see them?
