They could do with another “Redfor” nation, especially as Germany is going to be getting modern NATO jets like the Typhoon and in Sim at least. I really would like it if every match wasnt just Typhoon vs Typhoon with the occasional Rafale on one of the teams.

It’s former USSR, so ofcourse we get it as a standalone TT. Just like all our sub-TT’s are USSR instead of indiginous vehicles from the country implemented as Sub-TT.
Right now really isn’t the time to add a new nation, but yeah, something like a Warsaw Pact tree with Czechoslovakia as the head would be very possible

Just because “UKR” was added to the leak’s name because of the vehicle’s country of origin, it doesn’t mean they are coming FOR Ukraine ingame; they could very well come for other nations that fielded them, such as Thailand, for Japan.
It wouldn’t be the first time the nation label of a vehicle is wrong on these.
Besides, plans may have changed since 2021 (date of the leak): maybe Gaijin planned an Ukrainian tree/subtree but decided to implement their vehicles through Thailand after the real life events (2022), in order not to cancel their plan while also not moving into controversial grounds.

It’s been 3 years, and 2 years since the the real life event that may have changed the plans.
Before 2022, adding Ukraine was sensible; ever since 2022, it’s a… sensitive topic.
Changing the model from M to T to still be able to add it to the game without controversy is not a hard thing to do in 3 years.
