puma has trouble with t-34s, shermans and kv-1s aswell. But like I said the ebr should be 4.7 maybe 4.3 because it is simply still better

No you can still pen. The Jumbo has the same pen at 5.7 but is a heavy tank. The EBR can oen you just have to be more careful. Imo its harder to play at 5 0 because of the smaller maps. Try it around 7.7 and the larger maps help a ton, also their are quite a few tanks you can still pen.

Okok.
But what is more fun is the 5.3 EBR can’t do that on a 3.3 tank neither :p
(sure it can pass on some place, but a slight angle and EBR is dead, meanwhile it’s 2 BR up this vehicle that can OS it anywhere)

KV-220 i play at 6.7 and it only has 135mm pen but i also regularly survive this stuff Bussian Rias does not exist

At that time the puma was even lower, around 2.3 or so. xD
When i grinded France (just when they came out) most, if not all, vehicles were between 15-30K to repair…
