The problem with the brimstone is that its either radar or laser guided. One would be too powerful (same reason we dont have AGM-114Ls) and the other would make it pretty bad, requiring lasing during the entire flight
GRB when Brimstone 3 get announced:
18 if all of the wing pylons (with the exception of the SRAAM one) are used (they all have identical wiring afaik), but irl it never will because there are other things it needs to carry;
- StormShadow/TAURUS
- fuel tanks
- maybe LGBs.

they’ll definetly be dual mode, Im guessing they’ll just be like IIR guided AGM-65s in terms of performance and then the only OP thing could be the volume of fire.

Probably the only time it would carry so many is the same as the Tornado Gr4. When the target is purely something like a convoy that needs wiping out.

Doubt we will see them for years to come unless heavily nerfed. I don’t see them just killing off top tier ground rb like that.

Subtrees don’t mean every vehicle of the subtree nation will be added, but also a subtree nation can only go to the tree it is added. This means a subtree vehicle that isn’t added, just won’t ever be in game, unless of course it is added.
Seems like a subtree specific rule on paper, but that statement probably means nothing more than what is the rule for any nation in game. Tech trees have very limited space, vehicles are plenty, so not every vehicle will be in game, as not every vehicle can be in game.
Generally I’d say unique vehicles like this are more likely to be preferred over others, but looking at some existing subtrees there is enough reasons to doubt that.
