From what I’ve heard it’s a small but vocal minority, most are just players that care about nothing but being treated fairly like any other.

If Gaijin led with Coastal for China, they’d probably be able to put together a solid lineup.
But a naval tree that only has coastal in today’s Naval meta is going to be suffering lol

The RTA subtree was passed for consideration around October 2023, which was before the introduction of the VT4 in air superiority update. It was generally agreed that the VT4 would be superior to the ZTZ99A. This would inevitably cause outrage, imagine Germany receiving a pantsir(KMW chassis lol) before USSR.
The current forum and other discussion platforms hit a big 180 after air superiority dropped, people were given a huge disappointment when the VT4 was half-baked and was probably the worst MBT in the entire game for a week before emergency fixes placed them alongside, not worse than the bottom 4. This then turned the opinion around, and people began to actually lobby for a VT4 in the Japanese tech tree, to show non-China mains(not only Chinese players) how bad the tank is and how ill-portrayed it was.

Quite some people who are vocal for China fixes and buffs in China did not realize the forum is not blocked by the firewall, and gaijin only re-opened one official channel in bilibili around kings of battle update.
And then there comes the much ironic nature that some Chinese players who wants China to be fictionally nerfed and kept on suffering. There are one classified leak just for it. So the matter complicates even more.

Italy naval be like, what is bluewater? Seriously, Italy top tier coastal is great, but it is just slept on badly because a majority of its bluewater is ass.
Passed =/= implemented was not well receptioned at the time. The communication only got better when gaijin reactivated its official channel. Side note: the localization team is doing a marvellous job.
The line of thought is that people will be able to compare two tanks in the same game, one being the VT4, the other being the type 10 - an actually decent tank. I unironically agrees with this, because the VT4 and WZ are statistically bad, but there are too much praises from reddit and the forum, thinking it is a T-72 ripoff(seriously?) which has a reverse speed.

I have not seen a single post praising the VT4 on this forum, I don’t look much at reddit, but I don’t remember ever seeing any on there either, so I really don’t know what you are talking about

Yeah, but according to @AWACS Ghost Eye it receives lots of praise and there is some kind of need for other tech trees to receive a VT4 to show the rest of the world how bad it is

More players playing it means more attention towards issues it has. This in turn gives Gaijin more reasons to actually do something to fix it.
But where is that praise? Coz I can’t find it…
Now, I don’t speak chinese, so I dunno if that is different on the chinese forums, but over here literally noone is praising the VT4
If Japan actually got a VT4, how many players would you expect to use it and then realise “oh boy, this tank sure is bad”?
People play Japanese top tier for the Type 90s and Type 10s, giving them a VT4 would achieve the same as giving a nation like Sweden a Challenger 2 or the Ariete
The VT4, ZTZ99A and WZ1001 were often deedmed better than top tier Russia on places like reddit. They have superior handling, but thats about it.

Yeah can’t see an F/A-18 coming next update. The next update is usually a pretty small one anyway so there’s not much of a chance we will get something as iconic as an F/A-18 in that patch.
100% the F/A-18 will come in the December update
