a normal PL-12 needs to be launched at like Mach 1.5 to hit its mach 4 top speed already, to hit mach 5 you would have to be going mach 2.67 ;( (at 10km alt)
That is very much incorrect for the F-14, Smin. The Tomcat excels at rate fighting in game but gets nuked by every 4th gen that takes it 1 circle in a dogfight. And that is entirely because the Tomcat in mouse aim cannot pull high AOA and reduce it’s turn radius quickly by any feasible means.
Whereas in simulator controls the Tomcat can very much keep up in 1C with a lot of things while generating a very high amount of lift with it’s wings swept out at low speeds and staying in the air better than most things with an AOA button.
And yeah the tornado is a brick anyway so it’s really a nothingburger for it.

if adding a AOA button causes more crashes why is vtol ingame the amount of premium bums who die with premium harriers has to be studied

Precisely. It was stated all the aircraft have been evaluated for AoA Button effectiveness when previously stated only jets planned to get them would get them. The Gripen and J-10 barely have a difference with or without them while planes like the F-14 get huge parts of their envelope (previously completely inaccessible due to horrible instructor modeling) opened with it. I don’t know how it’s just so easy for someone to lie like that.

this is true the only benefit is dumping speed for a gun shot
they wont cause then they will have to add r37ms and to counter it they will have to give meteors and aim174s to other nations. Basement guy will have a heart attack rendering all these missles in. Although the r77m and the pl15 and the meteor would be a better combo atleast thats what i think
wouldnt the aim260 be a better fit than the aim174, the aim260 is a more advanced variant of the aim120D and is more agile and you can carry the same amount as the aim120 on super hornets, while the aim174 is based on the SM6 so yes it can pull 30-40g its more made to kill bombers and AWACS more of a modern aim54 and right now from images the f18f can only carry 4-6 aim174s

Current Naval Event ends on Monday, the 30th.
Next Wednesday is April 1st, if you catch my drift so likely a cosmetic only event, called April Fools Event

not even just the wings the F14 has a lifting body too its more extreme than the F15s lifting body

flight model how it handles F16XL if it went into production it would have same kit as F16C which would include the PW-229 making it americas best dogfighter since its also a tailess delta
both stealth aircraft are premiums or squadrons, one of americans best dog fighters is a premium, the best f14 was an event vehicle, why wouldnt the f16xl be event
