looking at this image, i believe in total it can carry around 18-22
No
16 is max and that will most likely be for American F-15EX and any other nation having exactly identical F-15EX. Considering how much Israeli’s modify there jet, proving that MRML is compatible with station 2 and 8 would be hard
Amber racks are not operational (AFAIK)
those things are not integrated as far as i am aware, only pitched
it is maw or just cm ?
What?
speaking of the US F-15EX wont get a MAW, while the F-15SA will for example
Isn’t MAWS compatible though?
Omg us main and their cope…
yes but the US doesnt have it installed (it might have rear aspect MAWS tho i am unsure as it has something that looks like maws back there)
Does that even matter anymore? I mean just look at AH-64E of nations like Taiwan and Indonesia or SU-30MKM
Maw or lws ?
Maw is good for bvr to know if a missile is comming. But lws is a need to detect ir missile where the maw dont have coverage
LWS does not detect IR missiles.
It detect laser, like the name suggests.
yeah except i main israel
Some next gen ir have laser integrated.
The worse us tree.
They are not American main
Idk if LWS was proposed or not
But it can detect if IRST has locked onto a target or not (And some IRST do use laser for something). IRST can would be able to launch next gen IR without any problem (or ARH)
better Strike aircraft tree btw
no? only for the Proxy fuse (unless you mean the Aircraft mounted IRST)
No, that’s 8 + 2 (the dedicated missile pylons on the wing) for a total of 10 missiles on the one side, double that for the other side and that’s 20 in total. But since the AMBER racks likely won’t be added (atleast initially) take away 4 for a total of 16 missiles.
What IR missiles have Laser integrated?
