16 is max and that will most likely be for American F-15EX and any other nation having exactly identical F-15EX. Considering how much Israeli’s modify there jet, proving that MRML is compatible with station 2 and 8 would be hard

But it can detect if IRST has locked onto a target or not (And some IRST do use laser for something). IRST can would be able to launch next gen IR without any problem (or ARH)
No, that’s 8 + 2 (the dedicated missile pylons on the wing) for a total of 10 missiles on the one side, double that for the other side and that’s 20 in total. But since the AMBER racks likely won’t be added (atleast initially) take away 4 for a total of 16 missiles.
Won’t that only be for American F-15EX if Israeli’s do end up modifying their jets and hence also modified wiring which could make MRML incompatible on station 2 and 8?
