probably not

with china getting an abrams nothings off the table by the looks of it, also we have the aussie CRV and superhornets already and i think most australians want there vehicles in the british tree anyway.

lol cuz I want to run the 9M for ever 🙄 folks said the same thing about Fox 3s you’re saying about the next IRs, the sky is falling the sky is falling. As always everyone will learn them and adapt.

But how do you even counter IR AAM that not only follow the heat signature of your plane but also the darn shape of it ?
Some planes like the Eurofighters can drag decoys behind them to trigger the proxy fuse, but not every aircraft has access to that.
I don’t think that this adaption will be easy to say the least.
But we will survive that stuff… I hope.

tbh i think Australia is gonna be a nation thats gonna be over multiple TT´s. The abrams went to china since one of the china´s operates it.

it really shouldnt be though thats the issue australia has more reason to be a british subtree than india does

expecting next gen IR to be anything else but FOV + Shufoff irccm is crazy.

yuh but take it up with the gaijin dev´s

next gen ?
Don’t we have that gen in game rn ?

yes and guess what they use for IRCCM…

but I was talking about what would be coming next.
So late mods of the R 73, R 74, AIM 9X,…

we have the 9X BLK 2 in game, it uses FOV and Shut off, just like the BLK 1, the IRIS-T also uses FOV and Shut off too, the russians dont even operate IIR…

also the towed decoy is for ARH on the phoon

propably for balancing reasons for now.
IRCCM on the Magic 2 also wasn’t implemented until we had AIM 9M in the game

LMUR:

i highly doubt its feasible to implement IIR into the game, as balancing would not really be an issue with the LDIRCM Helis

not an IIR A2A missile, also more of a MITL system

the R 74M2 strongly disagrees on that one

its not…
