Because yes. Did you have a booster perchance? The first and only time I enabled 500% boosters on both sl and rp at the same time was also the first and only time I was struck with packet loss over 50%

Idk, has to do with how server side and client side exchange data. My guess is the server side handles physics and the client side handles controls, so if server loses input from client it keeps applying external forces to the plane without retroaction (controls) forces and so the plane eventually crashes
Or maybe they’re just cruel and coded the server to get rid of people who lose connection by crashing them
