Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1) (Part 1)

I wonder, is gaijin considering adding 1 day the IRIS-T SLX Missile to the current SLM or would it likely be a completly new SAM?
the SLX would solve the current Issue which is produced by Helis with LDIRCM

If Israel is not being treated any differently, as you say, we have a big problem in the bug reporting system right now, if thats how you treat every nation. (including russia, right?)

and by the way

(not my video)

equal to the spyder, tho.

@Smin1080p_WT Hey there, sorry to bother you with a direct and possibly dumb question this morning, but there’s something I’ve been kinda curious about:
When it comes to implementing/adding in new aircraft, does whether or not a specific weapon said aircraft used being in-game affect whether or not it’ll be added, or is it more dependent on circumstances?

Like let’s take a late variant of the A-6 Intruder for example: would weapons it actually used such as HARM, Walleye II, AGM-65E/F, Harpoon, and so forth being already in-game make it a more plausible addition to devs, or would its weapons being/not being in-game be considered irrelevant to likelihood of addition?

(I’m only using the Intruder as an example as that’s the first plane that popped into my head lol)

Understandable, but we are at a point where unique vehicles are being put behind a paywall, e.g. the entire Finnish aviation. Where the TT is fully C&P and the unique stuff is being put behind a paywall.

Israel rarely seeing something that is not a M60 or T-55.

And giving away leopard 2A4’s, F-5’s etc… like it’s nothing.

Also, when giving a nation X vehicle, and another nation uses it, just give it immidiatly. Like the Dutch PZH2000, which could have been added at the same time as the other PZH2000’s, but now, it will most likely be added as the only ground vehicle for some patch to France, while it could have been added ages ago, and allowing France to receive something unique in a patch.

No plans currently to speak of.

No?

It depends on multiple factors. If we dont have that particular weapon in game yet, is that vehicle still viable? Etc

Ahh, I see
Appreciate the answer! Hope you and the rest of the CMs have a good day today! :D

The last 4 ground vehicles added to Israel have been neither.

So I assume the Plan is to proper implement the LDIRCM?

I said rarely

Its not really rare then it it? If for over a year now there has been neither.

Alsp Smin, when is Israel getting the remaining merkava’s from the US TT?

If you take the total amount of vehicles in Israel devided by the amount of updates that were introduced since the addition of Israel. You can say Rarely.

2.55 - eitan (good job)
2.53 - merkava mk 1 (copy pasted from the american tech tree)
2.51 - bardelas hvms (no autoloader and gun limitations because of the optional mgs)
2.49 - nothing for ground
2.47 - spyder (radar is horrendous, python 5 has a terrible performance)
2.45 - nothing for ground

the fact that the merkava mk 1 is not a magach or a tiran doesnt mean it wasnt copy pasted.

Yet again you can feel differently but until we see what’s it’s going to be your guess is as good as mine!

That seems like a very stange method of looking at things.

Your claim was that Israel “rarely” receives anything that isnt an M60 or T-55 base. When for more than a year and a half now thats not been the case at all.

Its like saying the British tree “rarely” receives anything other than Spitfires, but only if you count all the updates since the start of the game.

Please re-read the claim I was responding too. Because this wasn’t it.

i assume when he was saying “Israel rarely seeing something that is not a M60 or T-55” he meant copy pasted generally, and not only t55 or m60.

Thats not what he said though is it.

Even then, if you want to classify the Merkava that way, its a 3:1 unique ratio. So still not “rarely”.
