Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1) (Part 1)

Give me this at 10.3-10.7 please

Like cockpit models, HMD models take an eternity

Just gone ahead and watch them launch F-22 with JHMCS bro 🥀

if they bother to add the F-22 with HMD in the first place lol

Will nation get their new top tier tanks for example M1A2 Sep v3, leopard 2a8, T90M Arena for example the next updates
also is there any news on the Aerial warfare game mode ?

server dead?

Yeah and not even bother fixing the issues JHMCS already has.

That means that most updates will be naval focussed if that were to happen, since the amount of additions would go crazy.

They still limit to around 42 vehicles per update currently.
With all the sub-nations and future nations, this number needs to go up to around 60 per update. Otherwise the majority of nations wouldnt be able to get most of their vehicles, or it would take an encredible amount of time, e.g. look at all south-african additions. SA could have been its own thing, yet now, we see almost no SA additions anymore.

i think the regular sabra ingame is the only 10.0+ vehicle that deserved it’s br in the israeli TT lol.
i have high hopes for this one then

Did Israel upgraded engines on later Sabra models?

I remember someone mentioned that Turkish Sabras has the same powerpack that Merkava 3’s has.

no

Compared to the Mk.1, the Mk.2 incorporates a new MTU MT 881 KA-501 1000hp diesel engine and a Renk 304S automatic transmission with 4 gears in forward and reverse

Day 1166 of waiting for Polish tech tree

I’d really want a Polish TT to, but remember; we have an average of 42 vehicles per update, if a new TT is going to be added, chances are, that more nations will receive just 1 vehicle per update.

Or they have to drastically increase the average amount of vehicles per update, but i dont see that happen.
And when more modern ships and submarines will be added, more diversity will be going to them, lowering the amount of vehicles for helicopters, tanks and aircraft added per update in the process.

Resulting in some nations perhaps not getting anything at all some updates, or receiving just a boat, like France last patch.

Even if Poland isn’t a techtree or subtree, their vehicles exist. That already means they’re in the pool of vehicles to be added as you say, only that their priority is lower. We already have Polish vehicles, but there is few that can’t form lineups and don’t sit in the free techtrees.

If it goes on as it is, we will still eventually see the vehicles Poland has to offer, they will only be split up and to a large part unattainable from past events.

Current Polish vehicles

If we see more techtrees though, you’re right. The more nations there are to treat fairly, the more content is needed to have a vehicle every update. This is even more noticeable than with subtrees, where the techtree as a whole can still get additions even if not all nations in it get them every update. So to make it work they would need to add four more vehicles per update (with 4.2 as the current average amount of vehicles per techtree) for each entirely new techtree we get.

Personally I still think the game will eventually need more techtrees. Even with a complete rework of subtrees it’s just impossible to fairly represent everyone in only ten techtrees while also keeping them reasonable and balanced to eachother.

And for new techtrees in general, I believe a Polish tree is one of the most solid options we have going forward.

Warschaw pact TT, LATAM, BeNeLux, United Korea, African League.

That is true, but as a playerbase we sadly don’t have any control over this

This is one of the funnier ways to spell Warsaw xD

Warsaw pact I feel like is problematic because of how many nations that would be in it are already in game, spread across multiple techtrees. For the remainder I feel like it makes more sense to follow the rest of the game here and have a Polish/Czechoslovak tree.

A bit tricky maybe because it’s already in game. I’m personally not a fan of moving subtrees because I feel like that sets up a terrible precedent for a lot of issues going forward.

That said they are absolutely misrepresented and can benefit a lot from reworked subtrees. Especially when compared to techtrees like Israel that have less options than this subtree does.

To be honest they are more “misused” because now a days the focus is just to patch up holes in existing tech tree’s instead of representing the nations correctly.

I mean South Africa is probably the best sub-tree that actually got represented, well at least for Ground since air was also used as a patch up to give Great Britain a better aircraft for when Fox-3 arrived

Yeah that’s true as well. Especially looking at subtrees like Hungary (air) which didn’t even come with any unique Hungarian vehicles on release, or Thailand (ground) that came with two vehicles that aren’t even Thai, it’s really disappointing to see where the priorities are set here.

the one that got butchered the most is Finland, I’m amazed to see we didn’t get any tech tree Patria vehicles yet
