We need a BR change for planes at 13.0 and above, for example:

Move aircraft such as the Su-27, Su-33, and J-11—which carry lots of R-27ER loadouts—alongside relatively underperforming ARH-equipped platforms like the JA37DI, AV-8B+, and Tornado F3 (Late), to BR 13.3, the F5E with derby and Sea Harrier FA2 should remain in 13.0.
Promote the kfir C10 and JF-17 to BR 13.7.
Shift the mig29smt, Su-30AMV/MKK, F-16D, and similar aircraft up to BR 14.0.
Aircraft currently above these tiers would then be incrementally promoted accordingly.

The advantage of this restructuring lies in creating room for future additions of other second-generation fighters capable of carrying ARH missiles. Otherwise, it remains unreasonable to crowd numerous aircraft of vastly differing performance into the narrow 13.0–13.3 bracket solely because they happen to carry active missiles. This adjustment would also alleviate pressure on certain aircraft in the 12.x brackets, sparing them from facing disproportionately powerful opponents.

Under this same logic, the F-15A/J should return to BR 13.0. Additionally, the weapon loadouts for all MiG-29 9-12 variants in the game—particularly those operated by non-Soviet nations—should be revised: they ought to gain the historically accurate R-73 missile while having the anachronistic R-27ER removed, as this configuration never existed in service.

This is the most likely outcome, which they don’t make any change and remain the suffering. It’s hard to imagine that Gaijin actually carried out a major rebalance of the top-tier battle ratings two years ago.

I’m not trying to get a home only I’m trying to get a dang profile picture but my procrastination is too great. I need to finish my wiki article on the F-35, need to finish my Vice-Admiral Aage Helgesen Vedel suggestion and eventually become gaijin staff so I can do reports for Finnish camos without getting banned or denied for following rules.

Too many things to keep track of and not enough of me to do them

Take my Type 90, you need some comfort

One can dream.

Seems like it might be hard, especially balance when light tanks with FnF missiles with higher fire rate have less pen than the slower firing tanks. A vehicle with FnF missiles with good pen and high fire rate would likely be about 12.0

I mean, I do want something that’d be on par with things like the ERBC Jaguar, sWaTrgInf, or KF-41, etc… So being high br is something I wouldn’t mind.

So what chance does the Cobra King have against an IS-2 or a Tiger II? It just gets destroyed in one shot.

Use APCR rounds that, most of the time, either don’t penetrate the IS-2 or deal almost no damage?

95% of your engagements will not be that

If we used that logic for balancing, then 35mm SPAAs would be 3.0 because they can’t pen the heavy tanks, and would take 1 shot to kill with the APHE at the BR

The 76mm Jumbo has Mobility, Reload, a .50 cal, and a stabilizer over the IS-2 and Tiger II, which go a long way, in addition to a smoke shell, which with such a short reload, can do a lot of work for you when used properly

That armour, while obsolete against the better guns of the BR, will still save you against all the worse guns

the Jumbo won’t win a head on engagement, but its got the ability to flank with ease, which the Tiger II and IS don’t have

It might be underwhelming, but its far from bad

I’m not saying it’s bad. I’ve played a lot with it and I had a 70% Arcade win rate before the nerf, with 90% activity in matches.

But let’s go back to logic, not to “on paper” arguments about flanking, smoke, and penetration.

Yes, smoke can be used. BUT! What are the chances of flanking a tank? What are the chances of penetrating an IS-2 from the side, if even the commander’s cupola only gets penetrated after a few attempts? I’m not even talking about the rear of the tank—because it’s basically impossible to penetrate.

What are the chances that while trying to flank a tank, other tanks won’t spot you? (I’m talking about Arcade mode, because I don’t play Realistic… the battles are too long and sweaty :D)

I understand what you mean—that it’s fast, mobile, and the .50 cal is only useful against low-tier tanks, for shooting tracks or destroying fences to see what’s behind them.

The only thing I could see being done is giving it a more powerful gun with better penetration, and increasing the reload time.

Because right now, what I see from the JUMBO is that it can just sit on a shelf as a tank full of memories. :/
