Just a hunch. Seems best as a filler nation.
“Because they serve a better use as a sub for Germany” lol
I’ll be real, people wonder why Finland got air on top of ground and have called bias but I think they didn’t see the whole picture.
The point wasn’t to add good additions the point was to add enough generic filler to entice you to buy the XS because conveniently swedens newest jet at the same BR as the F-16 and Mig 29 was now locked until you got either the Mig 21 Bis to meet the vehicle count OR bought the J35XS.
Finland air literally had one unique aircraft being the Fokker and now it has nothing.
How much times will they make poor Smin deny that 😂
Israel first had stuff in the US, Sweden was in Britain
Considering the person being talked to, I’d believe it. They seem to want the worst/most controversial placements possible (ex. current event show, it shouldn’t be done like that). To the point, being C&P or being two nations that didn’t need to be mixed into one tree seems like non-issues in comparison.
But they also did say it’s not intended to be a subtree specifically. I think this does mean they have specific plans for Czech vehicles.
And personally I think Poland/Czechoslovakia compared to other techtree proposals stands out as one of the most interesting and functional ones out there.
It has two (three if modern Slovakia is counted separately) nations, which is significantly less than something like a LATAM or Arab League proposal and more in line with what’s already in game. There’s both unique vehicles and functional lineups throughout. The game is popular in these nations.
I also remember a Polish interview where they said there could be a Polish tree at some point, but I’m not fully sure I remember it right.
InTeRwAr pLaNeS rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeee
Wasn’t the techtree version of the Fokker also added after the release?
See that’s the thing I’m actually somewhat hoping is a clue that Poland will get it’s own tree is we haven’t seen the Rosomak. If gaijin wanted to really mess up the Polish tree they could’ve added it already but they haven’t.
Actually Britain got the Patria added to the TT before a Finnish version did given theirs is locked to an event lol.
France was in Britain, Italy was in Germany. This is not uncommon.
Unless the placement of a nation is confirmed to be fixed (techtree/subtree) anything goes that might be profitable.
Yeah I was just answering where they were first
Ah, well at least there’s that. Still a really sad line especially with the massive gap that has enough space for the one domestic Finnish plane that wasn’t a premium already.
Spoiler
Third time in the past 10min or so…
The fact that Finland has such good potential but Gaijin barely utilises it.
Indeed, Poland and Czechoslovakia can be visible unique.
As much as I want by CAN-ANZAC tree, which heavily limits C&P compared to unique/domestic stuff and fills capablity gaps but it suffers from its heavy use of a licensed built(and as seen by the Canadair NF-5A “boo! US C&P” despite being a sub-variant of a variant not yet in game, which was also not built by the US) or as seen with the Canadian LAV famly and US mains constent claim it’s domestic to the USA even tho they don’t do anything more then use two of the later varints.
Credit where it’s due, this is something they’re insanely skilled at
It’s hilarious they still have to have the J34 a swedish used Hunter in the Finnish air line cause they were too lazy to add literally anything else.
Honestly that techtree at least seems like the best option the game has for the Australia/Canada situation no matter what.
The alternatives are either keeping them in the current split hell, or an additional two full subtrees to Britain while the current two don’t even have enough space (I’d argue even Britain alone doesn’t). Then even with the space issue fixed that’s still not only the most nations any techtree would have in game at five, but also ones that individually have a lot of content, so the balance with other nations would also need to be considered again.
Honestly idk where the Humu would sit.
The B-239 is like a baby Ki-44, terrible climb and overall speed but a worse turn fighter than most Japanese props but with better guns. Basically a worse turning Japanese plane with no roll whatsoever but great guns.
Humu is a B-239 with 2 less guns and like 1200hp engine over the 850 the B-239 has
