i mean in fairness, War Thunder did start out as a Plane-only game

Misconception:

War Thunder released as a Global Open Beta on January 23rd, 2013. The logo already featured a tank on its design.

War Thunder: Ground Forces’ first trailer came out in May 14th, 2013. Just 4 months after the game’s Open Beta Test release.

By July 13th, 2013, there were Dev Blogs ingame footage of various Russian and German ground vehicles.

War Thunder: Ground Forces’ Closed Beta test began in November 13rd, 2013.

War Thunder: Ground Forces was openly released in May 15th, 2014, in the 1.41 update.

The only reason why Air came a year earlier than Ground is because they had a head-start by recycling the pillars for it from Birds of Steel and Birds of Prey. That doesn’t mean that the game was meant to be an import of Birds of Steel with the whole Ground section “being an afterthought” that they somehow fully developed in months after the release of Air.

Oh god, I think I know what can fit here and would totally be a gaijin thing to do especially after Malaysia.

And look at it now, we’re about to have a full circle moment with Infantry.

🥹 They grow up so fast

Those Tornado and Typhoons could make nice rank IX premiums for Britain, those F-15SA would fit in nicely for the US.

And yes, I know what the intention was for your post: British cope and ragebait.

So F-15, Rafale, SU-30 and Eurofighter in the same tree?
Why would they even add Saudia arabia to thd british tree?

And mirage 2000 as well.

It’s just a ragebait attempt with some British cope sprinkled in to make it believable.

Me watching (and only getting madder) as Gaijin makes everything but the Anglo dominions have a home(in the UK tree)

But it’s never wrong.

It’s simple really. Gaijin asks for suggestions → someone gives a really good suggestion that fixes many issues with sub trees → Gaijin then ignores it.

Never happening.

GB is a UK + India + Australia tree mostly. Idek how Saudi Arabia fits into it lmao. The most that could potentially happen is some Saudi Arabia camouflages for aircraft both GB and Saudi own (like their Eurofighter)
