I think so, but need to double-check if the next event started after the WW1 vehicles last year.
But them being extremely wanted vehicles makes it hard for any other event to compete if not

Looking back at last year we had the F-5A(G) → Strasbourg → FIROS → WW1 tanks → Meteor.
It should just slot in between the usual cycle.
For those who are curious, the B-52H we have is a pre-1991 configuration 60-0014. You can tell that it’s pre-1991 because it retains the tail sting vulcan, which was gradually removed from the B-52H (including this one) from September 16, 1991 onwards. The only non-nuclear armament (excluding the AGM-86C) this B-52H carried in service around that time period was conventional free-fall bombs, which is what we have in-game.
The only three smart munitions it could carry, the AGM-69, AGM-86B and AGM-86C, are all cruise missiles that are not yet in-game. Out of this list, only the AGM-86C has a non-nuclear warhead.

because it’s easier to do the original red vs blue (USSR vs USA)
We are still days out from anyone getting their hands on those planes. They will hopefully be fully modelled and kitted by then

@Smin1080p_WT sorry to ping but with the B52 and Tu95 both being tier 6 will they get an airspawn? since awhile back gaijin removed airspawns from all bombers and attackers at tier 6 and above to stop things like the Q5C having a massive advantage over other fighters
if they dont then they will be agony to grind but it is what it is

bombers dont normally get a detailed cockpit so I wouldnt get your hopes up lol

The B52 is detailed its just low resolution
man I love the B52, also the fact i get the f15a while USSR gets the mig29 feels like a crime.
Also the rewards feel slightly low 40 minutes, 26 kills and only 26 thousand , i get the multiple life thing but man still 40 minutes is long i could probs make with a talisman vehicle about 50-70k in that time, however in all honesty for me, if we get this map and mode permanently I would willingly take that RP hit.
also why is the one mode where the f117 would be kinda neat or useful to test i cant bring it my poor 8.7 boy

that’s true, to be fair ec feels like they decided to port sim maps to rb and we all know nothing even slightly related to sim would get love and attention
Honestly they haven’t got bad placeholders. Much better than the placeholders we used to get.

which is only makes it even worse when you actually see what they can make but intentionly choose to withhold from actual gamemodes

The one that annoys me is the Bomber Mossie though, which has a low res placeholder despite the other mossies having new high res cockpits
