Probably an effort to keep it at a BR where it isn’t instantly DOA.
They should at least make the Su-27 available to balance things out a bit

This is the pre-1991 version since it has the gun. They removed it after an incident where an F-4G fired a HARM at it because it thought it’s radar was from a SAM site. At the same time the B-52 crew thought the F-4G’s radar was from an Iraqi jet.
The B-52 was hit by the HARM and had it’s tail ripped apart. Still landed though.
We could still get a later version for the TT which could have loads of guided weapons.

Also this isn’t true. R-73 and R-60M massively over-perform the AIM9L. I can’t flare an R-73, just out turn it. AIM9L however-Oh hey a civilian air liner! Not to mention R27R against AIM7’s. Yak-141 players are SCRAPING the people without US jets to put in their line up.
ive seen f14 iriafs get 60+ a2a but never seen a mig29 or yak141 get above 30
And I can get 60 a2a’s in my F-16, it really depends how cordinated you are with your team. Again, I’ve already seen several squadrons using the Mig-29, Yak-141, and Su-25 group together to farm kills.
Mind you, the stock planes given to players is the F-4 and A-6E… That’s a pretty massive difference.

Turned at the wrong time, ECM would’ve made it miss but since your wings were rolled it still managed to hit you. Even in the B-52, I stayed on flight path as I watched S-300s flight over and under me
yea, its why im just gonna buy the marks, i dont have any good american of russian jets i can use, so i gotta use stock, and im not dealing with that pain
Shame there no British Vulcan or Victor in this event but hopefully that could mean they might be saving them for the tech tree

the april fools events are normally alpha tests for future mechanics and game modes, we are getting more strat bombers but rn these are just to test iy

Not going to lie, the event is perfect for grinding since you get Aced crew, and full mods. If you need free jets to pump your next researched jet it’s very well placed for an event.

Yeah, they pretty much soft counter the missile away from you, in the video you can see the exact level where the Patriot would’ve passed right below you.

i dont have america OR russia reseached im a german main, so i have to use these stock jets, and some aspects of the event need to be tweaked like the OSAs pulling insane Gs, perfect tracking and ignoring terrian
