That’s one thing, but when there is a regularized device in a country and it goes to the premium, that’s really not okay. Example Sturmpanzer IV Brummbär No. built 306 and only premium, or there is A-6 Number built 693 and only A-6E TRAM in the game.

i would rather the cf18 due to more realistic loadouts but gripen will be fine

I do not know why you are explaining that to me when i am aware. But that makes them better in at least armor or thermals as well. As a definition they are better then the german equivalents, i dont understand how you dont seem to understand that.
It is a simple question are the strv 122a and strv 122b plls better then the 2a5 and 2Pl (which was missing gen 3 thermals for the longest time) yes or no?
And did sweden have acces to germanys best vehicle on top of that the 2A6 yes or no?

Compromise means similar, not better.
Better protection, worse lethality.
Sweden was also stuck with DM33 for a long time while DM53 was 2A5’s round.
Strv 122 also wasn’t in German service because Germany switched to 2A6s.

@AlvisWisla Forgetting that the armor has a bigger impact in this case compared to the round. Since in most cases they will still penetrate or the better thermals /same optics allow to shoot at weakspot better / find your targets better in the first place.
Again not arguing that, no clue why u bring that up. Still stands finnland gave sweden who already had the better leopard versions. Germanys best leopard on top of that.
