The Al Yamamah II contract was for 48 unspecified Tornado IDS’, which were delivered between 1990 and 1998, so since the GR4 upgrade only started in 1996 those most likely were GR1s and GR1As as well
80 of their Tornados were upgraded in 2006 to match the GR4 standard
when the development will be finished in 2025 iirc but the shard has bin unveiled in 2021 (but we still need to buy it lol
but again the shard still performs slightly less then the DM73

I can certainly say that speed is still a very strong factor.
But it’s not good for when you need to take territory.
Which is why I’m confused why MGCS is having such a hard time. Two different requirements of speed and armor should be able to be solved with moldularity.
