Sometimes it would be better for the community to have a little more clarity.
What I always understood from Smin was that of all the nations in the game, Germany was the best suited to receive Argentine vehicles.
I think they wanted to give representation to Argentina. Otherwise, instead of the TAM they could have added the TH-301 to the German TT.
But they are all assumptions, since there was never clear communication. Also, I still haven’t forgotten when Grom said “change of plans” to explain why the Pucara wasn’t coming. Nobody yet knows what a “change of plans” is.

Maybe it’s for some kind of “South America” TT, especially since Brazil won’t be added as subtree for Italy now for sure. On the other hand I don’t think they would miss the chance to sell the same plane twice.

Consider that a leak may not have all the pertinent data. If you look at the Vilkas right now, it may not have a nation set and have an event tag placed on it as a placeholder for a tree not yet added.
I and most of the community still don’t know how these leaks happen. It could be internal, external via word of mouth, or even a data breach. If it’s the latter of the 3 options, anyone not internal to the dev team might not be privy to why something is marked as an event vehicle.

I appreciate the correction, but it doesn’t appear from the free sources online that ASPRO-HMT is anything other than what is marketed globally as Armor Shield R. I’ll accept your correction because British armor isn’t my forte, but STANAG 6 is better than STANAG 5, and both are basically gen 1 ERA. The resistance to cannon-fire is meant to prevent premature detonation. So you pick up a little KE protection, but again, 84mm isn’t that impressive if not substantially angled… anyways.
I agree regarding laziness on ERA, I’m arguing they’re failing ALL ERA types, and it is certainly well documented.

CR2 is a mess, and I hope it gets fixed enough to just be a dorky different play style tank and not what it is now.
