Russia has the most bloated list of top tier premiums you can buy into. I can only see a new ship making the most sense.
It still perplexes me how Gromvoiny thought the new U.S and U.K premiums were something to be celebrated as well.
So I’m not expecting much intelligence when it comes to what else is coming anyways.

The UK needs more light tank / IFVs or…rather anything that is usable at top tier

I have said this before but it would be funny:
If the UK is the only nation to have an F-18 (even if it is for one update)
To top it off if the US gets the F-15 this update they shouldn’t have any right to complain about not getting it.
But these are US mains we are talking about they complain about not getting some that aren’t even theirs nor do they have a good claim on. once again see: The “Skink” (it’s funny this is what the Skink’s legacy in War Thunder has become)
Definitely. But you can’t have your cake and eat it too, unless you are saying you wish they’d announce a French premium rank VII tank. Otherwise, the M1A1 HC and the OES are good additions to bloating everyone else. Also, I don’t think you can call USSR bloated without calling US bloated.
What I’m gonna be disappointed about, tbh, is if they announce some more or some new Rank VII and/or VIII planes, and they don’t release anything useable for the Soviets or the Chinese (the two lines I’m focusing right now). I’m a firm believer every nation needs at least one serviceable premium in every rank.
Last time I checked that was the CLIP.
The LEP was litterally the Rheinmetall proposal with the L55A1 and the new turret.
Right now, we’ve got:
1 (one) 4th generation interceptor (Tornado F.3 11.3)
Two 4th generation strike aircraft (Harrier GR.7 11.7 / Tornado GR.1 11.3)
And that’s it for “top tier” British jets.
Our last actual fighter jet is the Phantom FGR.2/FG.1 in 11.3 with AIM-9Gs and Skyflash (DF) and is expected to survive against a 4+ Generation F-16C Blk 52
For ground, we’ve got:
No top tier SPAA (ADATS is woefully short range compared to its contemporaries in other trees and is also a TD not SPAA)
5 (FIVE) Challenger 2’s, all of which are perhaps the worst tank at top tier owing to their numerous inaccuracies in modelling and handling.
No light tank at top tier
No IFV at top tier
I’m hoping this update gives us more than just a TES with a 50 cal on the roof…

Within 1 year from this point, is still very much the present.
I think ariette and leclercs are worst then Chally 2
While I represent France and wish for it to be as good as it can be, I usually worry about the health of everyone else as well, especially the other minor nations. If France doesn’t get much this update, while I would be disappointed, it would still be a net positive if the other nations like Italy, Japan, Israel, China, and even Sweden got something good.
Otherwise yes, I was already thinking about the comparison to the U.S being bloated with premiums as well.
They could have gone also gone with the solution to make a U.K premium light vehicle and a tech tree light vehicle that fill the same role. But a GE Challenger 2 that will likely ruin the U.K W/L is coming instead. Which is just a lazy half solution.
Otherwise I’m sure Russia will get a T-90M and and China might get a VT-4. I’m not opposed to Russia getting anything good at all, it’s just the resources could have been better used elsewhere.

Ariettes I can see, given they have literally no armor, but Leclerc’s are honestly not the worst.
